In Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, the new evolution of Bisharp, Kingambit, requires Leader’s Crest. The rare Held Item, however, can only be acquired using a secret technique that can be challenging if you don’t know where to look.

- Bisharps, who are guarded by a group of four Pawniards (Bisharp’s pre-evolution form), hold the Leader’s Crest. They are sporadically scattered between North Province (Area One) and North Province in Fury Falls (Area Two). How to find a Bisharp with Leader’s Crest in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet?
Only specific Bisharp that are surrounded by a group of Pawniard can be found with the Leader’s Crest. There are no other Pokémon in the forest that will drop it, and there is no other way to get the Held Item. As a result, you must circle the Bamboo Valley until you come across a group of Bisharp leaders.
Once you’ve located the unique Pokémon, battle it and capture it. You must include the Dark-type in your team because if you knock out the Held Item, it will not drop.
Run back and forth through the entire forest to reset the Pokémon spawns if you don’t see any Pawniard groups in the valley. A Bisharp leader will already have Leader’s Crest attached to its Held Item slot once you’ve located and captured it.

How to use Leader’s Crest Held Item in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet
By pressing the X button after getting it, you can locate the Leader’s Crest item in your Pokémon team roster. Click the Bisharp you just caught with the A button to bring up the menu, then choose the Change Held Item option to see if it has the Leader’s Crest. The Held Item can now be attached to any Pokémon of your choosing. Simply leave Leader’s Crest attached to your Bisharp and use it to eliminate three additional Bisharp group leaders in the forest to bring about the third evolutionary form of the Kingambit from the new Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
