Thanks to the dedication of modders and the strength of new GPUs, which can run The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim with excellent performance even with a tonne of visual upgrades, the game still looks fantastic even though it was released more than ten years ago.

The fifth game in the series from Bethesda is shown running on an NVIDIA RTX 4090 GPU with ray tracing global illumination ReShade and the Elysium Remastered modlist, which includes many visual improvements as well as an audio overhaul, more immersive sounds, and more in a new video released today by Digital Dreams.

Bethesda released The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition on PC and consoles last year to mark the game’s tenth anniversary. The most recent release of the game includes all of the base game’s content, all of its DLC expansions, and new Creation Club content, such as quests, dungeons, bosses, and other things. Last month saw the release of the Anniversary Edition on the Nintendo Switch.
