The much-anticipated sequel to the critically acclaimed God of War series is finally coming out in just over two years! Fans can rejoice as God Of War: Ragnarok Release Date 2022 will be released on November 9th, 2022.
The game is being developed by Sony Santa Monica and directed by Cory Barlog ( creator of the Legacy of Kratos video game series). With new and returning characters, players will take control of Kratos as he battles his way through Norse mythology in an attempt to regain his son’s soul.

On November 9, God of War Ragnarok will be available for PS4 and PS5.
The follow-up to the God of War reboot from 2018 is scheduled to release this year, despite rumors that it would be delayed until 2023 and assurances from the developers.
A brief new CG trailer titled Father and Son that features Kratos and Atreus fending off numerous threats, including an enormous wolf was released alongside the news. In addition, that wolf might very well be Fenrir, the son of Loki in Norse mythology. If you’ve played the series’ most recent title, you know that’s a challenging concept.

A gameplay trailer for God of War: Ragnarok showed us a recognizable blend of fantasy combat and family squabbles. The game picks up where the Norse reboot for the classic action series left off. Thor will finally be included in the game, and there will also likely be some exciting adjustments made to the action systems.
To complement its other series productions, such as the Horizon series on Netflix and The Last of Us for HBO, Sony is reportedly creating a God of War series for Amazon.
